There is HOPE

I think the last time I felt really good about myself - and I mean genuinely confident and strong - was back in '04.  Wow - just realized that was about 6 years ago.  The surprising thing in retrospect - '04 wasn't the year that everything was going right in my life - '04 was a year of supreme inner growth as a result of rising up from the deep, dark depths of insecurity and having no sense of identity (or more honestly put - a false sense of identity stemming from Mr. Oh-So-Wrong).

Here I am today, 6 years later, jobless, hopeless, and feeling pretty down low.  This time, I'm with Mr. Oh-So-Right, and actually know myself!

The difference is that between '04 and now, I've done a whole lot of growing up.  Back then, opportunity seemed to be around every corner - I could have gone in any direction and found a measure of success.  Today, Now, the job opportunities available just don't appeal to me anymore.
